    Location: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glenfinnan, Lochaber Filmed here: The viaduct which the Hogwarts Express travels across. This is the famous and impressive Glenfinnan Viaduct on the West Highland Line, used as part of the flying car sequence in Chamber of Secrets and then subsequently in movies 3 and 4. Twice a day the Hogwarts Express style "The Jacobite" steam train crosses the viaduct and you can even travel in it yourself. Find on Google Maps >>  |

    Location: Loch Shiel, Lochaber Filmed here: Hogwart's Lake, aka The Black Lake This beautiful loch in the Scottish Highlands, very close to the previous location Glenfinnan Viaduct, has been used various times throughout the films as the backdrop for Hogwarts. Find on Google Maps >>  |

    Location: Steall Falls, Glen Nevis, Lochaber Filmed here: Dragon battle in Goblet of Fire This mountainous area is home to the second highest waterfall in Britain. It was used for Harry's battle with the dragon in the Triwizard Tournament first task in Goblet of Fire, and is also great for a hike! Find on Google Maps >>  |

    Location: Clachaig Gully Filmed here: Hagrid's Hut This is another Highlands location in Lochaber, where they built the set for Hagrid's Hut in Prisoner of Azkaban. The Hut was only temporary, sadly. Find on Google Maps >>  |
