Glenfinnan Viaduct Location: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glenfinnan, Lochaber

Filmed here: The viaduct which the Hogwarts Express travels across.

This is the famous and impressive Glenfinnan Viaduct on the West Highland Line, used as part of the flying car sequence in Chamber of Secrets and then subsequently in movies 3 and 4. Twice a day the Hogwarts Express style "The Jacobite" steam train crosses the viaduct and you can even travel in it yourself.

This beautiful loch in the Scottish Highlands, very close to the previous location Glenfinnan Viaduct, has been used various times throughout the films as the backdrop for Hogwarts.

This mountainous area is home to the second highest waterfall in Britain. It was used for Harry's battle with the dragon in the Triwizard Tournament first task in Goblet of Fire, and is also great for a hike!

This is another Highlands location in Lochaber, where they built the set for Hagrid's Hut in Prisoner of Azkaban. The Hut was only temporary, sadly.
