DH1 DVD- Deleted scenes, extra features, release date!
The British Board of Film Classification has just updated with details of the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 DVD, including a release date of 11th April 2011, the deleted scenes and the other extra features.
The deleted scenes included will be:
- The Burrow's Shed: Ron Discusses Radios with Mr. Weasley
- The Dursley House: Harry and Aunt Petunia As They Leave House
- The Dursley House: Harry and Dudley Shake Hands
- The Granger House: Death Eaters Search Deserted Home
- Ministry of Magic Lifts: Harry Tells Arthur He's Being Tracked
- Tent: Trio Discusses Destroying The Locket
- Rabbit Chase in the Forest
- Montage: Ron and Hermione Skimming Stones
It will also include:
- Featurette: On The Green with Rupert, Tom, Oliver and James.
- Focus Points: The Last Days of Privet Drive, Hagrid's Motorbike, Magical Tents, Death Eaters Attack Cafe, Creating Dobby and Kreacher, Godric's Hollow, The Frozen Lake and The Return of Griphook.

Harry Potter receives special award from American Film Institute, Chris Columbus collects
As we’ve previously reported, the Harry Potter series has been awarded a special award from the AFI, honouring the series as a whole. Given that Harry Potter is a British production, it was not eligible for the main awards given out by the organisation, which only recognises American-generated productions.
Chris Columbus, director of Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets, was an apt recipient at the awards gala. Even though he only directed two of the films, Chris must be given much credit for determining many long-running aspects of the series as a whole, notably the casting of the actors, young and old. Dan Radcliffe hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ tonight, funny promo video released
Dan Radcliffe is tonight guest hosting Saturday Night Live, the infamous late-night sketch comedy & variety show on American TV. Those in the US can catch it on NBC at 11.30pm ET/PT.
