At the BAFTA Awards this evening the Harry Potter film series was honoured with the Michael Balcon award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema. Presented by Stephen Fry, the award was collected by producer David Heyman, and J.K. Rowling. Thanks to Mugglenet we have full video coverage of that segment right here. Here’s a quick awards season update for you. Stuart Craig has received a nomination in the Fantasy Film category for his brilliant production design work on Deathly Hallows Part 2, at the prestigious Art Directors Guild awards.

A new TV advert for Daniel Radcliffe’s upcoming thriller The Woman in Black has been released online. Watch that below via DanRadcliffe.co.uk. The film is set for release next month, prepare to be scared!
