Deathly Hallows Part 1 receives two Oscar nominations




Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 has received two nominations at the 83rd Academy Awards, in the categories of Art Direction and Visual Effects. In the former, it is alongside Alice in Wonderland, Inception, The King's Speech, and True Grit. And in the latter category it is up against Alice in Wonderland, Hereafter, Inception and Iron Man 2. Additionally, Harry Potter actress Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Bellatrix, has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The King's Speech. Good luck to her!
