Epilogue kids James, Albus and Hugo actors revealed
The names of the actors who play James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter and Hugo Weasley in the Deathly Hallows epilogue have been revealed. James is played by 14 year old Will Dunn, Albus by 12 year old Arthur Bowen, and 10 year old Ryan Turner is Hugo. Thanks to Snitchseeker and ScreenTerrier.

In May during the filming of the epilogue, pictures and videos appeared online of the aged Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco and Ginny as well as the kids.

Below is a video that I took when I went to visit Kings Cross during epilogue filming.

It shows brief clips of Dan, Rupert and Emma and good footage of the kids. (Note: the kids at the start are the actual actors and the ones at the end are their body doubles)

Arthur Bowen - Albus Will Dunn - James Ryan Turner - Hugo

Also of note in the ScreenTerrier article is the casting of Ellie Darcey-Alden and Rohan Gotobed as young Lily Potter and Sirius Black, presumably for a part in Snape's memories in The Prince's Tale. These two castings have been revealed before but we didn't report on them at the time.

Young Trio discuss Philosopher’s Stone plot, fame and more in new, old interview

An old interview with an adorable Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson from back in the early days of Potter has been released recently. In it, the little trio each give their own plot summary of the first movie, and then go on to discuss fame, friendship and more.

Daniel Radcliffe named Entertainment Weekly’s ‘Entertainer of the Year’

The major entertainment website and magizine Entertainment Weekly has released their ‘Entertainers of the Year’ issue, and Daniel Radcliffe tops the list!

“Having captivated moviegoers around the world with the last installment of the Harry Potter series, Daniel Radcliffe earned the number one spot on our list of the most talented and original performers who entertained us this year. Rounding out the honor roll? Seventeen more people and groups, from Adele to Hugh Jackman to the cast of Bridesmaids.”

You can see scans of the magazine here in our galleries courtesy of Snitchseeker. Among them is an intro from Gary Oldman, the legend also known as Sirius Black, who gives some great comments about Dan.

And here is Dan on the cover:

It’s official: New Wizarding World theme park heading to Hollywood, and Orlando to be expanded

Warner Bros. and Universal executives, along with James and Oliver Phelps, today gathered in Hollywood to make their much anticipated announcement that a second Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park is to be built there in sunny southern California. You see pictures above and below from that event, and you can read more of what was said over on Hypable.com, who had press access for the announcement.

Here is the official press release, that also confirms the rumours that the existing Orlando park is to be expanded (more on that soon!).

Warner Bros. Entertainment and Universal Parks and Resorts today announced a partnership to bring The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – the enormously popular themed entertainment environment which debuted in Orlando in June 2010 – to Universal Studios Hollywood.

The two companies also announced their plans to significantly expand The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood will be as impressive as what has been created in Orlando – and is expected to transform tourism in Los Angeles for decades to come. It will be a fully immersive environment for the entire family that brings the stories of Harry Potter to life and is faithful to the visual landscape of the films, including a majestic Hogwarts castle to serve as the centerpiece of the themed environment. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood will be created with the same commitment to authenticity and the same level of talent and resources as its Orlando counterpart.
