Epilogue kids James, Albus and Hugo actors revealed
The names of the actors who play James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter and Hugo Weasley in the Deathly Hallows epilogue have been revealed. James is played by 14 year old Will Dunn, Albus by 12 year old Arthur Bowen, and 10 year old Ryan Turner is Hugo. Thanks to Snitchseeker and ScreenTerrier.

In May during the filming of the epilogue, pictures and videos appeared online of the aged Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco and Ginny as well as the kids.

Below is a video that I took when I went to visit Kings Cross during epilogue filming.

It shows brief clips of Dan, Rupert and Emma and good footage of the kids. (Note: the kids at the start are the actual actors and the ones at the end are their body doubles)

Arthur Bowen - Albus Will Dunn - James Ryan Turner - Hugo

Also of note in the ScreenTerrier article is the casting of Ellie Darcey-Alden and Rohan Gotobed as young Lily Potter and Sirius Black, presumably for a part in Snape's memories in The Prince's Tale. These two castings have been revealed before but we didn't report on them at the time.

New Oscar consideration banner and video

Adding to their push to get Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 nominations in the awards season early next year, Warner Bros has released firstly this banner showing the moment late on in the film where Hagrid is carrying the body of ‘dead’ Harry. On this are quotes from film critics praising the film, and a list of the categories and people that they are pushing (Best Picture: producers David Heyman, David Barron and J.K. Rowling; Best Director: David Yates; Best Adapted Screenplay: Steve Kloves; Best Cinematography: Eduardo Serra; Best Actor: Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint; Best Supporting Actor: Ralph Fiennes and Alan Rickman; Best Actress: Emma Watson; Best Supporting Actress: Helena Bonham Carter and Maggie Smith; Best Original Score: Alexandre Desplat). This list is less a few of the names that appear on the website.

Also, WB have produced this second video (the first can be seen here) to promote the film to awards voters. While the first was very emotional, this one is more epic and action orientated, but still interspersed with quotes from the movie’s rave reviews. Thanks to Snitchseeker who uploaded the video to Youtube from an ad on Hitfix. Get the whole story »
