Deathly Hallows Part 1 receives two Oscar nominations
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 has received two nominations at the 83rd Academy Awards, in the categories of
Art Direction and
Visual Effects. In the former, it is alongside Alice in Wonderland, Inception, The King's Speech, and True Grit. And in the latter category it is up against Alice in Wonderland, Hereafter, Inception and Iron Man 2. You can read the full list

Additionally, Harry Potter actress Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Bellatrix, has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The King's Speech. Good luck to her!

We’ve been semi-offline for the last few days as we’ve been completely changing the systems behind the website. HPSupporters.com is now powered by WordPress, meaning we’re future-proof and into the 21st century! There’s also a bit of a refreshed design of some bits and pieces which we hope you like.
The new behind-the-scenes changes will make it easier for us to update you with the latest news, edit things on the site and add new features when we need to. There are still some areas of the site not completely transferred over, but these will be ready soon.
