A Norwegian website today released the first trailer for the Rupert Grint’s post-potter film debut, Into the White (originally called Comrade). The film, set in World War II and based on a true story, sees German and British soldiers striking up an unlikely friendship when they have to survive together in the frozen wilderness of Norway.
The National Movie Awards aired live this evening in the UK, and as usual Harry Potter was one of the big winners. Deathly Hallows Part 1 picked up Best Fantasy Film and Deathly Hallows Part 2 was named most anticipated movie of the summer.
Producers David Heyman and David Barron were there to accept the awards along with Bonnie Wright. Meanwhile Bonnie's fiance Jamie Campbell Bower, who appeared in Deathly Hallows Part 1 as the young Grindelwald, won the 'One to Watch' award. All the awards were voted for by the British movie-going public.
There's also a nice Harry Potter montage in the middle looking back at all the awards its won at the NMAs in the past. I managed to record all the HP related footage and you can watch that right here:

Dan Radcliffe discusses his future in the film industry with MTV
Get More: Movie Trailers, Movies Blog
Unfortunately, MTV only makes their videos available in the US
Dan Radcliffe recently spoke with MTV and discussed his time doing Harry Potter as well as what he thinks the future holds for him in the film industry. He mentions that he’d like to direct at some point. If you can’t view the video above, here is some quotage courtesy of Mugglenet:
“My worst nightmare is that in ten years that I will just be not working and not doing anything. Even if like in five years time I decide to leave the film industry and go off and become an archeologist, like even if I’m doing that, then great, fine. But the best case scenario is that in ten years time I’ll have gotten a good few films under my belt. I don’t know how many that’ll be in ten years, but I suppose since I did eight ‘Potter’s’ in ten years, double that to sixteen, who knows. But I’d to have a few different films with different parts, and very different directors under my belt.
Ideally, I’d really like to have directed something by then. That’s the ambition. I mean I feel having spent so much time on a film set, I would have a very good idea of how to run a film set, how to lead that set, and I love telling stories. So I would like that as a job.”
New video: A Tribute to Dobby
This lovely new video, A Tribute to Dobby, was released by WB via Harry Potter: The Quest. It features a look back at some of Dobby’s scenes and also director Chris Columbus, Daniel Radcliffe and animation supervisor Pablo Grillo giving their thoughts on the little character.
